A birthday countdown in pictures (#11)

Emergency! Paging Doctor Track!

"Are you OK?"
Richard Armitage played Dr. Alec Track in the first (and only) season of The Golden Hour in 2005. The series wasn't exactly the greatest thing ever written, but wouldn't you love to wake up to this man taking care of you? I wouldn't mind that at all...

What's a birthday without a birthday present? But what do you get the man who's living his dream?
This year, consider donating to one of Richard's selected charities (Shelter, The Salvation Army, Childline and Barnardo's) - visit his
Just Giving page. Thank you!

  1. Is there a sexy doctor in the house? I had difficulty getting through the series, but Alec was hot enough to risk some blood, a broken limb, a black eye just to have his silicone-gloved hands take care of you :)

    1. You mean his beautiful hands would actually touch me...? *faints* And here I was already jumping for joy at just having him look at me like in this picture...:-)

  2. He was very sweet in this show. I didn't mind the show but there wasn't a strong enough focus on his character.

    1. Yes, he was definitely the best thing about this series... but isn't he always? ;-)

  3. Having been a nurse at one time I loved the "technical" stuff - even the "emergency thoracotomy"!! He was apparently so good in this role that he was described as "One of TV's most convincing medics ever." I think I would have liked the show better if they hadn't had SO many flashbacks to what led up to each incident, but it was worth watching just for the joy of seeing him in the role of a doctor! :)

    1. I wasn't a fan of the flashbacks either, they were confusing! I'm not surprised that Richard was so good at the technical stuff - he's definitely known for doing the research and getting the details right!

  4. Upon my waking from unconsciousness to Dr. Track's face hovering over me, I think I would claim a lingering feverishness and just go ahead and kiss the man soundly. Ha!
